Defense Minister Galko Receives Czech Ambassador to Slovakia

Defense Minister Lubomir Galko received Czech Ambassador to Slovakia Jakub Karfik and Slovak Ambassador to Indonesia Stefan Rozkopal. The Czech Ambassador congratulated Minister Galko on his appointment to this difficult post and said he was sincerely glad that the new minister already met with his Czech counterpart Alexander Vondra. The meeting was held based on the request by the Czech side. According to Ambassador Karfik, “we have had twenty years of cooperation and very friendly relations”. They both agreed that the Czech Republic and Slovakia find themselves in a very similar security context; both armies have undergone a reform process, and topics of future cooperation should be elaborated further.
